Collateral Arts Exhibition – Opening Night

Our annual student Arts exhibition is opening soon! The exhibition is titled “Collateral” and features Visual Art and Photography work exploring our student’s experiences and perspectives. We are also seeking parents/community members to volunteer to man the gallery while the exhibition is running. Our annual Visual Art and Photography Exhibition opens 28 OCTOBER!!
We would love to invite you and your families to attend the opening night of our student Visual Arts exhibition for 2021. The exhibition is titled “Collateral” and features Visual Art and Photography work exploring our student’s experiences and perspectives.
What: ‘Collateral’ Narrogin Senior High School Students’ Visual Art Exhibition

When: Opening night – Thursday 28 October 6pm (Term 4 Week 3)

Where: Nexis Exhibition Space – 82 Federal Street Narrogin (next to the town hall)
We are also asking for volunteers from our parents and community members to man the gallery whilst the exhibition is running. If you are interested in volunteering, please find the attached roster, and email your preferred day and time to Zoe.Quartermaine@education.wa.edu.au.
If you are unable to make the opening night, the exhibition will be open from the 29 October – 13 November.

We will be welcoming those students who will be attending NSHS in 2022 for the first time to our Transition Day. Students from within our intake area will come and join for activities and for a chance to meet other new students who will also be attending next year with them.

Year 12 Presentation Evening

Oct 27 @ 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
A light supper will be provided for students and their guests at the Hilltop Café from 4:30pm until 6:30pm during the gown collection. Guests are asked to be seated in the gym, and students assembled outside the gym, by 6:45pm. We will cater for up to four people per student to attend as guests on the night, however, we will try to accommodate extra guests if any seating becomes available. Should you wish more guests please email Sophie.trefort@education.wa.edu.au for the request and we will inform you if this could be accommodated. Please do not attend if you are unwell.
Due to a change in our Photographer for the Presentation Evening, Bliss Studios (who do the photos at the ball) will be attending to take photos. We ask that all students arrive at 4.30pm or as close as possible to that time so that they can get into their gowns and have individual photos taken by the photographer. These photos will take place in the PAC, after the individual photos have been taken there will be an opportunity for family photos. We do ask that you partake in the light supper which will be provided at the Hilltop Cafe till 6.30pm.
Information will be in student graduation folders regarding how to purchase photos, but their pricing is very reasonable.

Sports Academy Awards Ceremony Period 3-4

The Sports Academy Supporting Parent Committee will be holding an Awards Ceremony for those students who participate in the Sports Academy Program. This will happen at the Narrogin Residential College during period 3 & 4. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to attend.
